TheThreeRs grew from Mike Hartmann’s educational software work and his mother’s long career as an educator.
Mrs. Hartmann’s contribution
A long-time public high-school English and journalism teacher, Mrs. Hartmann contributed educational worksheets, puzzles and learning materials to the original TheThreeRs effort.
She has long been retired from classroom teaching. Today, she remains involved with young people as a high-school chess coach.
From classroom materials to simple software
Mike’s software work focused on clear pictures, familiar words and tapping exercises. The family project brought those ideas together with an educator’s materials and experience.
This space will grow into a tribute to Mrs. Hartmann and the work they shared. Photographs, recollections and selected materials will be added after family review.
A next chapter, thoughtfully prepared
We are preparing space for future English and writing workshops, journalism-related learning, chess instruction, webinars and remote learning sessions.
